Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, has been indeed
one of the tallest leaders of Indian freedom struggle and even after seven decades
of his disappearance, the enigma about him still remains unsolved. Netaji’s so
called ‘death’, in Taiwan in 1945, still remains a subject of disagreement for
many.
But the recent revelation of the alleged
letter of Late Prime minister Mr. Jawahar Lal Nehru to the then British Prime
minister Mr. Clement Atlee on social media, had fumed the hard core supporters
of Netaji. It had also questioned the belief of others, who were ingrained with
the idealism of Nehruvian history. Though there were be a distinct sect of
people who consider this letter as a blatant lie.
But the most shocking revelation came from
the recently declassified files from the Indian Intelligence Bureau, which
claimed that that the kin of Netaji were spied for almost two decades, from
1948 to 1968. Even the followers of Nehruvian history found it difficult to
comprehend, the need of reasons, behind snooping of not so politically active
family members during that time. The family hardly posed a threat to Mr. Nehru
politically; then what had been the reasons behind the snooping still remains a
mystery to many?
These revelations and statements have
opened the Pandora’s box once again. Did Netaji really die in the plane crash
or was he murdered on the behest of Mr. Nehru almost puzzles everyone?
From statements on the social media it
apparently seems on the emergence of a paradigm shift from the original notions
that he was killed in a plane crash.
The patriotic Indians do not yet forget the
Cuttack born magnanimous leader, who rejected the lucrative profession of
Indian Civil Service (I.C.S) to serve the country and selflessly sacrificed
everything in his capacity to achieve independence of India. But does this mean
that enigma behind his death will be revealed, still remains the biggest
question?

6. Gandhi and Nehru saw Bose as
a threat to their positions,so isolated Netaji. That is character of modern
