Some thoughts….

I am there with you in your thoughts,

As you are there with me in my thoughts,

And we stay with each other in our thoughts,

That is how we stay with each other.

It’s easy to break a relation,

But, how to break the connection of thoughts,

Even if I wont court you tomorrow,

But, how can I stop thinking about you,

Or how can you stop thinking about me?

We don’t know what lies ahead,

We don’t know what happens to us,

Our parting is inevitable,

But what happens to our thoughts

Will they perish with the flow of time?

Or will stay with us in our hearts

Only time will tell…

poem : Across the river

Across the river….

You are there on the other side of the river

and me on this side.

I can see you standing there.

I can feel your presence.

But cannot go to the other side

as I don’t know how to swim?

If I go, I will be drowned in the water.

This is the fate entailed on us,

lets not complain, as fate is hardly pleasant.

I can only see you from a distance

And feel your presence,

But can never touch you.

I can never be with you

We are not destined to meet

Yet we are not ready to be separated

Lets take what life has offered

At least we can see each other

Even if we don’t meet

Lets be happy and thankful

As we are there for each other

Even though we cannot feel each other’s arms

But the question is that how long we can endure this pain

Of not having each other

Not living with each other

Across the river I will be waiting for you always…..
